Home Dr. Murphy Dr. Nicol Projects Participants Students Lab Meetings Links

Once a week we have scheduled lab meetings to discuss ongoing and future experiments, relevant journal articles, and important concepts. These meetings provide students with the opportunity to advance their learning and understanding of concepts outside of the classroom. Having an environment where students can apply difficult concepts and terminology, not found in everyday living, provides an advantage when taking advanced courses. Furthermore, it lets everyone know the status of experiments and share ideas for potential experiments. Lab meetings began in the summer of 2009 and since then have grown drastically in attendees. In fact we have out-grown our lab space and have had to move to a classroom that can accommodate our group. If you are a student who would like to join the Lab Meeting Group contact us for more information.
